Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel

8/10 Good

"Nice hotel in a central location. Parking (valet) is $50/day with in and out privileges. On the day I left, instead of pulling into one of the spaces open at the curb, the valet opted instead to throw on my car’s hazards in the middle of 4th Street, backing up traffic. He also failed to put my car into park before he got out so it started drifting away. When people on the sidewalk (including me) started yelling, he jumped back in and managed to put it in park, still blocking the street but at least it didn’t crash. I loaded the back and drove off. Although I’m guessing the valet is an independent contractor and not a hotel employee, I’m deducting a star for the experience. Absolutely wild - but glad nobody was hurt. The hotel itself is fine."

Great Wolf Lodge Cincinnati/Mason

8/10 Good

"Great wolf lodge was a fun quick getaway for the family. We brought our 8 and 10 year old. They were excited for some of the Halloween events but once we got to the main hall, they realized it was geared towards smaller kids. We enjoyed our time but everything was just really escalated in price. It cost us nearly $200 just to play in the arcade a bit"

Best Western Mason Inn

8/10 Good

"The hotel was generally nice but the rooms are truly date. The room was clean but had some paint chips coming off in the wall in the bathroom. The room had some odor to it but that could have been just from being closed up for a while or the fact that it is a pet friendly hotel, we sprayed some room freshener and it was okay for our stay. Breakfast was good, the gym was ok but there were wipes when i got done working out."

21c Museum Hotel Cincinnati

8/10 Good

"The hotel itself was great, and I love the museum theme. The room was comfortable, modern. and really nice. The weak spot was the staff. Everything from a front deck staff that seemed more interested in their computers than helping us, and valets who took 20-30 minutes to get our car. The biggest pain isn't the fault of the hotel but while they are a pet-friendly hotel, there isn't a single plot of grass anywhere within 10 blocks of the hotel. The staff was well aware telling us "there is no where to take your dog' but at the same time didn't to anything to create a solution. Something as simple as a square of astroturf would have made our lives so much easier."
