« My husband and I , along with our small cavoodle Tashi, enjoyed a relaxing getaway in April. The bush setting was a lovely contrast to our usual beach focussed experiences. We loved the access to fabulous bush walks snd our hosts were happy to share their extensive knowledge of tge area. The accomodation was well situated, very clean and comfortable. « From arrival we felt comfortable and welcome. The cottage and surrounds were very special. The owners have put a lot of thought into comfort and enjoyment for their guests. After taking in the initial beauty and serenity of the place we entered to find a bucket of feed with which to feed the goats. The Monash Cottage is quite a rustic building with a unique history, however the basic nature of the building won’t be for everyone. But it worked really well for our purposes and would stay again. « Stayed here over the long weekend, and loved the house. House was very clean and welcoming, beds were comfortable (and the electric blankets were even left on for us) Hosts contacted us before we arrived to see if we had any questions, and were next door if we needed anything. Lovely bowl of fruit on arrival, and some homemade honey to taste also. Thanks for letting us stay 😊 »
