Semi Detached Cottage style
which externally provides the charm and character of the "Original Style Australian Beach House".
Internally, the character flows, with quirky style, however including all the creature comforts to make your stay enjoyable.
One or two studios available. (Can book for one couple only),
Both studios include a Queen size Bed, Kitchenette, Reverse-Cycle Air Conditioning, TV, DVD, Free Wi Fi .

En suites have Luxury Double Spa Baths. A real treat after a long bush walk or surf.
Includes quality Amenities, Towels, and Hair dryer.

Curl up in a Comfy Queen sized bed with Mattress Topper, Electric Blankets, with Linen provided.

A relaxing lounge area where you can enjoy the warmth and charm of the authentic Gas log Fire. You can also use the dining area. A great place to wind down after a long day of sightseeing, or just to enjoy the ambience.

Alternatively, the Veranda is a lovely place to sit to bird watch, with glimpses of the Sea and if up early enough, a stunning sunrise.

Has the option of being rented by one couple, ( the extra studio closed off) as a
Semi Detached, Semi Self Contained Cottage with lounge and Gas log fire..
If other studio is required for two couples travelling together , or a family of four, there is an additional fee for the extra studio..

We as caretakers, live semi detached to the property and are here to help if need, or leave you alone if need. :)

We have Information available on the extensive range of walking tracks and waterfalls, that are available to you.

Perfect for two couples travelling together who also enjoy there own privacy.

Or of course a family, or one couple.

Very clean cottage, comfortable bed and pillows. Short walk to shops and foreshore, a bit of exercise walking back up the hill was good. Sue accommodated our special requests and gave us useful tips on things to see and do. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this accommodation. It was extremely clean and tidy. The linen and towels were crisp and fresh. A cosy and comfortable stay. The porch was nice to sit on and enjoy a cuppa or a meal, which we did do, it was tranquil and the sounds of birds around added to the experience. 2 minute drive to Lorne main street/beach. We had our dog with us too and she enjoyed it too. We will definitely stay here again.

The accommodation was simply lovely. Our little dog was very happy to have us with her for 100% of the time and loved walking down to the beach each morning, and after an early coffee, a slightly harder walk back up. Great for fitness. Our host family went above and beyond, on all occasions. We booked into the Lorne Grand Pacific for a meal and when the Uber failed to show Sue dropped us and picked us up. I will be recommending ours hosts and accommodation to our own friends and family going forwards.

Disappointing

I booked this accommodation expecting it to be two bedrooms. On the day of leaving I spoke with the owner who told me that it was a one bedroom stay with a shared living room. She said that she would charge me an extra 400 for the other room that we needed for our daughter who was now coming. We stayed one night only as the beds were so hard that I could not walk without pain the next day. The shower was also above the spa bath which made it impossible to get into with a sore back.The property was advertised as pet friendly and she said that she would not charge me a pet fee this time!She also lives adjoined to the property and you could hear noises when sitting in the lounge.Not restful or accomodating at all. What a terrible waste of money. I think it was very misleading advertising.

Loved our Long Weekend in Lorne

Wonderful stay

This property is wonderful. It is perched above the cute little town of Lorne. Every home comfort has been thought of and the whole place is spectacularly clean. Sue's help and advice on the place itself and the local area is much appreciated. She replies to messages rapidly on the VRBO website.

Pet Friendly Great Ocean Road

Wonderful property in Lorne, scenery and wildlife is incredible around property. Small basic kitchenette but we ate out. The King Parrots were a highlight. Travelling with our geriatric cavalier - he was welcomed and enjoyed the stay also. Sue very accommodating and anticipated our every need. Highly recommend.

The property is at the top of the hill in Lorne, great location and two great double rooms with showers spa baths and kitchenette’s. Threat hostess with good communication and very helpful, we had a great time in Lorne and loved staying here, would definitely recommend it for couples families or singles wanting seperate rooms. there is a great TV fireplace and lounge area downstairs to relax and enjoy the holiday atmosphere of Lorne and the great ocean road. Highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous studio stay

The property is very appealing. I didn’t realise there are 2 studios under the same roof and communal lounge. We had the whole thing to ourselves. Gas log fire was lovely. The whole place has a calming peaceful atmosphere. The host was lovely and very accommodating. The shower is above the spa both, so anyone with bad back or older may find it a tad tricky getting in and out, but the shower was divine! The 2 sofas were so comfortable to relax in as well. Smart tv is available to log your account into (just logout before you leave). Tv in bedroom as well. No cooking amenities only a microwave. An airfryer would have been brilliant. We took our little pup with us and she loved it. Sitting outside listening to the birds and kookaburra was so relaxing! The bed is very comfortable. Air con/heating also in bedroom. We will most definitely be back!! 10/10

Tranquil bush stay

My husband and I , along with our small cavoodle Tashi, enjoyed a relaxing getaway in April. The bush setting was a lovely contrast to our usual beach focussed experiences. We loved the access to fabulous bush walks snd our hosts were happy to share their extensive knowledge of tge area. The accomodation was well situated, very clean and comfortable.
