The Dean Cork is well located, with a contemporary, trendy feel and a great vibe. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and it is a convenient base for exploring the city.
However, the room was very small, particularly considering the price. There was barely enough space for one piece of luggage per person, and with no storage, it felt cramped. At this price, we would reasonably expect more usable space. Our coffee machine also did not work, and breakfast felt expensive for what was on offer.
We had mentioned that our stay was to celebrate my partner’s 60th birthday. The acknowledgement was a mini Time Out chocolate bar. While the intention may have been kind, it felt rather underwhelming for a milestone birthday.

Beautiful place, awesome service. Such a great location, beautiful property, amazing dinner, delicious breakfast. Ballymaloe is an experience not to be missed. Particularly loved the water kefir at breakfast, the various fruits prepared in different ways, oatmeal, big jug of cream! Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

"Lovely hotel with pool and spa. All staff were professional, friendly and approachable. Breakfast was lovely, great choices for vegetarians and vegans. Room was very spacious and clean. Plenty of parking spaces. Highly recommend this hotel, would definitely return."
