"We had a wonderful stay at Kittyâ€™s cottage. The cottage is so homely and feels really welcoming. Itâ€™s lovely and warm, even when the weather outside was freezing. It was super clean and very well equipped. We loved walking on the beach, which is only moments away, with such beautiful views. Driving over Galloway forest park, we stopped to feed the goats and deer, which was wonderful. You need to take your own carrots or other fruit / veg to feed them. We would stay again if we had to, as we couldn't find a place to stay in the actual town of Stranraer the Inn is located in Portpatrick). It was adequate for the price. We ate somewhere else, but the restaurant seemed busy. It was also pretty quiet for a pub/restaurant in the summer, which we appreciated."
