Sea Views. Next to Golf Course. 4 en suite bedrooms Located right next door to Portpatrick's Dunskey Golf Course and affording beautiful sea views over the Irish sea to Northern Ireland, 4 Star Cedar Lodge, has four bedrooms, all with en suites, and sleeps 8 people. Done out in a New England clapper board style externally, inside, the lodge has the same stylish interiors as our existing Corsewall Estate Holiday Cottages. As with all our Dumfries and Galloway holiday cottages, Cedar Lodge has been completely refurbished from top to toe. Inside, our Portpatrick holiday house has a large open plan kitchen, sitting and dining room with a wall of French doors, which open onto a raised deck and which offer amazing sea views. In the sitting room area, there's a corner sofa, three armchairs around the electric wood burner style fire and a 40" Smart television. The kitchen is well equipped with a bean to cup coffee machine, double oven, dishwasher, gas hob, fridge-freezer and washing machine - all appliances are Neff. It has a good range of glasses, cutlery, Port Meirion plates, pots and pans, oven to tableware, knives, utensils etc. There's an antique restored pine dining table in the dining area, which seats 8 comfortably. This luxury Portpatrick holiday house has four bedrooms, three of which can either be super king size doubles or twins - depending on your requirements and all have en suite shower rooms. The fourth bedroom has a adult-sized bunk bed and an en suite bathroom. As with all our cottages, the beds have thick feather-filled duvets and pillows, crisp white linen, large bath sheets and hand towels for each guest. We provide a welcome pack for guests on arrival including a jar of home-made Corsewall brownies, milk, bread, jam, butter, tea, coffee and fresh flowers from the garden (when in season). You'll find the cottage well equipped with the general basics too from washing up liquid, bin bags to washing powder and loo paper. Outside it has a raised deck with a picnic table and a wooden garden seat - it's a great place to enjoy a drink and take in the view. Cedar Lodge has a enclosed garden with mature shrubs and car parking space for 3-4 cars. Two dogs are very welcome at the Cedar Lodge - there are lots of lovely walks for them around Portpatrick. We charge £25 per dog per week/£20 per dog per short break and we ask that you let us know in advance to book them in. Gorgeous decor and the most comfortable beds, fluffy towels in the en suite bathrooms, luxury soap, it was like a top class hotel. Well stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean. Perfect location as the boys were golfing, weather was disappointing but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment. The information provided beforehand of the local area was excellent and Kate was on hand at the end of the phone during our visit and was so helpful and friendly. It is very well equipped and comfortable. Kate and Angus, the owners, were friendly and helpful and apart from the weather, we had a lovely holiday. Great base from which to do as much or as little as you choose. Would definitely recommend Cedar Lodge. ##### Laura H. The lodge is spacious, well equipped and is ideally located, being just a short walk from the beautiful harbour of Portpatrick. It is a detached property on a large plot with commanding views of the surrounding gardens and area. The lodge has all the comforts of home and was very welcoming, making it ideal for a lovely and relaxing holiday. Will be returning again, and hope the lodge is available when we do. I would thoroughly recommend HomeAway, Portpatrick and Cedar Lodge. ##### Peter C. Would highly recommend this place. Cedar lodge is a superb base, with wonderful views, all mod cons and amenities, clean, modern and most importantly extremely relaxing vibe... you won’t be disappointed. ##### Laura S. Spacious comfortable living area with open plan kitchen with everything you would need if you fancy cooking. Four good size bedrooms and the bonus of all being en suite. Very warm and cosy on a cold night and if you play golf it’s only a 2 minute walk to the first tee of the Dunskey course. My family and I had a great time and will hopefully visit again. ##### Joe C. Perfectly located for golfing or walking down to the town which has some fine restaurants and pubs. Lots of activities in the town as well as being a good touring centre for local sights and beaches. The house layout is perfect for 2 - 8 people of all age groups, and everything has been thought of in the layout. Garden and decking space perfect for youngsters, and the rooms which have every comfort imaginable are well proportioned and well decorated. would highly recommend it to all. ##### Thomas P. Séjour de 7 nuits en juin 2017 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Elaine B. 20 juill. 2016 #### Golfers Paradise Great Lodge with all the comforts of home - everything looked brand new & the little touches like home made cookies and fresh flowers & the rest of the welcome pack gave it that little extra touch. The description was spot-on and the location is ideal for golfers, walkers & anyone wanting to explore this area. Kate welcomed us and Angus popped round the day before we left & were always quick to reply to emails & texts so can't fault the customer care. We played several golf courses & would recommend them all, Wigtownshire, Stranraer and of course Portpatrick literally walking distance so no problem for a couple of drinks afterwards. Plenty of choice in the area for eating out although our recommendation would be the evening weekend menu at the Golf Club - be warned book early as its very popular. Four friends shared the lodge so plenty of space - could easily accommodate 6 adults & 2 kids tho I think 8 adults may be a bit of a push.
