This hotel was average, but certainly not to the standards of a 4 star hotel as its advertised. The breakfast was great as other reviews state, but that's the only thing I would rate above average. All of the pictures of this hotel seem to have been taken at least a decade ago and the property has not been maintained well. The rooms were very basic and the bathrooms were a bit grimy. Our shower had rust marks all over the walls (I hope it was rust), and grime all around the caulking. It would also get extremely damp and humid after anyone would shower and the walls and ceilings in the bathroom would drip with moisture for about 10-12 hours after a shower. The pool and outdoor area were also poorly maintained, I certainly would never consider swimming in that pool. If this were rated as a three star hotel I would consider it passable, but rating this hotel as 4 stars makes absolutely no sense to me given the state of the rooms, property, and amenities.

Quiet, clean oasis with super friendly bilingual staff. Beds were very comfortable and blackout curtains made for great sleeping. Convenient spot for walking all around Palermo. Would definitely stay here again.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is a beautiful building in an excellent location. I felt safe there as a solo traveler. The staff were kind and friendly. The room and its bathroom were very large and perfectly clean. The included breakfast was delicious and had multiple options. There is a lovely lobby and an outdoor courtyard to enjoy as well. I would definitely stay here again.
