"Coffee maker was broken, room had not been vacuumed in quite some time. I communicated the issue to the desk manager that morning along with a request for room service at 7am nothing had been done by 6pm when i returned. When i called to the desk about the issue the attendant i spoke woth was combative about my concerns. Maintenance was incredible. He was friendly switching out the coffee maker and made a point to wave me down to confirm that the replacement was working when i went down to the lobby to meet my delivery driver. His follow through and dedication made a huge difference in my experience. The two hour timer on the fridge is just insulting but thats a corporate call, a very poor one at that"

"The hotel advertised breakfast on Expedia. However, when I asked what time breakfast was served, the maintenance/front desk staff told me they have not offered breakfast “in a while.” Check-in was also extremely unorganized. When I arrived, I waited approximately 30–45 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Once the clerk arrived, they had to call the property owner at home to confirm my reservation. I specifically requested a non-smoking king room, but I was initially assigned a smoking room with two queen beds. The room was dirty, and the bedding was old, worn, and torn. The following day, I was moved to a king room, but unfortunately that room also had cleanliness issues—there were visible spider webs hanging from the ceiling, and the bedding was again dirty, with cigarette burns similar to the first room. I was also told the owners are waiting until the Masters to purchase new bedding and make updates. While I understand some properties are independently owned, I have stayed at other Sonesta locations and this experience was far below what I expect from the Sonesta brand. Independently owned or not, Sonesta should not allow a motel/hotel to operate under its brand without thorough vetting and ongoing quality standards."

"The vending machines on the floors are gone. Must purchase items only in the lobby. However, there's signs that there's machines on the floor. Ice machines only on 2nd & 4th floors. The bathroom walls were dirty. The bed & pillows were comfortable. The staff was nice"
