Born in Virginia in 1780, he came to Richmond County in his youth and studied law. Immediately realized it looks way worse than the pictures. The night window person was nice. However, He placed us in the very last room in the corner. Multiple suspiscius individuals were pacing outside which gave a sense of fear. As a mother traveling with three kids, I didn't feel safe. The door was clearly forced open at some point and was unable to be locked. For security, we were forced to use a chair to barricade the door. We also saw a roach inside the room Immediately upon entering. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, and we were forced to use the ones we had in the car. All of the fabric felt used and possibly dangerous. The entire experience felt incredibly unsafe. We had to leave early out of fear for our safety. At 7:30, we managed to finally wake someone up to check us out. I do not reccomend staying here. There were a few reasons I left to go home early. How terrible this hotel was one of my main reasons. AC was off when I got to the room. It took 5 hours to cool off the room. It wasn’t cleaned from the last visitor. There was hair in the sink and used soap in the shower.
