« We loved everything about this hotel in the charming countryside backed by mountains with views of Icelandic horses and the distant sea in front. The food at the restaurant was some of the best that we experienced in our weeklong stay in Iceland. The breakfast was complimentary with many options to choose from. Plenty of activities offered by the property including horseback riding with wonderful views from the mountaintop. The staff were extremely kind/courteous. »

« It was great, the hotel is brand new that there still have that new wood smell. Simple aesthetics, clean rooms. Good selection of breakfast. Not much facilities than restaurant though. I wish they put at least one or two local tv channel as I want to know what shows Icelandic people watch. They are mostly mostly american channel. If I want to watch them, I just stay at home. »

"This is a 2 star motel at best. Very basic rooms and facilities. We paid almost 500€ for 2 adults and a child for a tiny room. Room 101 was very noisy as it is the 1st room next to the restaurant At night we heard banging sounds and loud voices. Even with the window closed, they have a huge problem with their air vents in the toilet making an unbearable noise with the wind outside. When the window is open the sound is completely deafening! Anything but peaceful, The hotel had an unpleasant wet shoes/socks smell all throughout!!! Corridor leading to all the rooms is very dark and dingy! This was NOT a comfortable stay for us and definitely our least favorite place in all our 6 hotels in Iceland! Hotel interior in general looks cheap and budget level. Very deceiving! "
