Really cute place. Lovely room. Clean, good shower, great heating. Comfy beds. Great breakfast: eggs, bacon, beans, toast, yogurt, sweet waffles. We had dinner one night, the salmon was delicious. Beef pasta was dry and lukewarm but, to be honest, we were happy to have dinner there rather than driving elsewhere. Friendly staff. Reception is not always manned but they tell you their hours and unless you have pressing issues/questions it’s fine. Overall great place.

It’s not a fancy hotel but it is very nice. The staff were helpful with advice on local restaurants and the breakfast was good. We also appreciated that they had a charger for our plug-in hybrid vehicle, though we couldn’t always use it as other guests got to it first.

The room was small but nice quality. The view was amazing. It is the middle of a field, with a view of the waterfalls and mountains. It is not walkable. Restaurants are a 15 minute drive at minimum. Breakfast was excellent.

Property is quite isolated and far from eating establishments. We had an excellent dinner (need to preorder) and the breakfast buffet was good. Room was very small w/o a desk or closet and very small bathroom with limited amenities.

This hotel saved us during a bad snowstorm. It looks unassuming from outside, but the room was very comfortable and the food is excellent. They had the best lamb we had in Iceland! The breakfast was a good selection and also high quality. The staff was lovely and accommodating when we made a last minute reservation. We didn't have Northern Lights the night we were there, but this would be a great location for spotting them.

Location is amazing, staffs are very friendly and helpful, room is nice and clean, we had the best sleep from the past few days is Iceland, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. It's in a rural area, so not close to any restaurants (15 minute drive away), but they cook a nice dinner upon request. And great breakfast, too. It's well located to visit many waterfalls, Westman islands and parks.
