Great place to stay- room was super comfortable and clean. The views around are amazing, we even had a balcony in our room to enjoy them. There was a very clean cozy kitchenette downstairs for common usage. Breakfast was great. Lots of activities in the area around. The cat was such a pleasant addition to our stay!

I have to admit, I was initially a little disappointed when I realized how far this property was from, well, anywhere... But once we drove in the driveway and looked around at the incredible views, and saw the rooms, well, our opinion changed completely. It's a GREAT place to stay! The scenery is amazing, the facilities are fine and the dinner we had there, instead of driving back to Vik, was excellent. The choices are limited to a few items in the restaurant but the quality and presentation were excellent, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We only stayed one night but would definitely go back if we were in the area again! Make sure you walk down the road a bit to catch the sunset, with the glacier off to the right. This was our first night in Iceland after landing earlier in the day and it was a great way to start!
