« We all loved the location and view from the house! Luckily I caught that the double beds were quite small to hold 2 adults in the photos and contacted Anne. I’m glad I did! She provided a queen air mattress which we used. The double beds may be able to hold 2 small children, but would be too small for 2 adults. There were a quite a few spiders and nails in the floor so watch out! »

« We booked this house because of its proximity to friends who live on the island and the views, as shown in the listing. The house is well stocked and the views are gorgeous. Many reviews comment on how old the house it is, but I found it in great shape/ functional and clean. It also has a special beach charm. My only concern is that the “kid’s room” has its own entrance/ exit. We used outdoor chairs to “barricade” the door at night to ensure safety while sleeping. An exterior lock would be nice...

« Beautiful views of the area and Mt. Baker! This house is in a nice neighborhood with lots of space between them, so the yard is private, and the deck is huge! Kitchen was updated and accommodated cooking meals for our family reunion. Rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. A/C was a plus on the warm weekend we spent there. The shower door needs some repair but overall everything worked great. Would stay again! »

« What a great place to stay. The house is so comfortable and the deck is fabulous. Views of Puget Sound & the Olympic Mountains along with great sunsets. Bruce & Diane are very accommodating hosts. We took their recommendations in dining out but you can’t beat the waterfront dining prepared in the well stocked kitchen. So much fun to see eagles from the house along with all the different ships going by, even a submarine! It was a wonderful stay. »

« Beautiful and quiet setting within a short drive from the Hope Island Beach Club wedding venue was perfect for us. The house worked great for 3 adults with plenty of space for all of us. The quaint town of LaConner is a gem with wonderful restaurants and lovely sunset walks along the water. »

« Tyee Blue Heron cottage is beautifully done inside and sits with a beautiful beach and view. We had to wait thru a day of rain and then the sun came out and it warmed up. We saw Orca whales swim up the straight and you wonderful representative on the island was in contact and let us know she would text us if she heard they were back. This is our second time here and we have loved it both times. We will be back! »
