This is the place to go for rest, relaxation and just kicking back. Easy half a block walk to the town's main streets and interesting shops, a great museum and plenty of restaurant choices for food and pricing. The rooms are sun facing, so we were not able to sit out on the balcony due to their being no canopy or other means to shade the area from the sun, we spent very little time on the balcony. Fortunately the weather in mid May is cool, but it would be extremely uncomfortable once the really warm weather starts. We didn't have a large room but the room was well appointed with comfortable chairs a table, writing desk and Queen bed, a fireplace, large dressing area by the bathroom basins that were away from the separate shower/tub and toilet room. Breakfast was adequate.

The La Conner Channel Lodge is a great place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, clean place to rest and stay. You can easily walk to all the downtown stores, and enjoy outdoor meals along the canal. The continental breakfast at the inn is light, but still pretty good. We will be returning to the lodge the next time we are up in La Conner, and we recommend staying there.
