« The rooms were comfortable with a/c and hot water showers. The staff were outstanding. They picked us up from the main road in the dark at 11pm in a Safari jeep and they drove us and all our luggage to the lodge, as our driver’s buss would get bogged on the muddy road. The chef was very friendly and cooked delicious food for us. The Safari was exceptional. We got very lucky to see leopards. One of them is called Lucas, a mature male leopard. The king of the jungle. Apparently a rare sight. We...

« 1181/5000 Very pretty villa on two floors placed right next to a small rice field. Another much larger is located right in front which unfortunately leads to mosquitoes at night. Remember to close your windows and your door before the night otherwise you will be entitled to bites. The food is quite generous but the service is very long and prices much more expensive than in Negombo. Three times more expensive for fries as an example. The bedroom is comfortable and has two medium sized beds...

« Vi ankom til et fint hotel, hvor vi blev taget godt imod, vi blev vist op på vores værelse. Værelset var fint og nydeligt, der var en lille altan, med bord og stole, en god og behagelige seng, et pænt bad og et godt toilet. Da vi ankom sprang vi direkte i deres lækre pool, den var varm og behagelig, da solen stod højest Dagen efter sprang vi også i poolen der var den dog ikke så varm, solen var nemlig ikke så meget fremme Ejeren af stedet var meget venlig og meget interesseret i at høre...

« Les managers qui parlent français nous ont organisé un safari dans le parc Yala avec un chauffeur très compétant. Il y a une belle piscine au milieu d'un parc bien entretenu et il est agréable de d'année sur la terrasse de la chambre. Mais attention aux moustiques. Beaucoup de choix au dinner, mais service un peu lent, tout est fait à la demande. Nous avons apprécié nos deux nuits. »

« Seemed the best hotel in the area. Room big with a terrace leading to the very attractive large pool with the lake and a tree house to climb. Monkeys about who were fun to watch. Breakfast more to Asian tastes than mine but French toast, potato’s, fruit and breads available.It was very quiet during our stay with more staff than guests! Good choice for Yala but recommend the wild edge restaurant opposite in the evening for a drink. »

« We had a wonderfully relaxing few days. The staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were most enjoyable. Our room was immaculately clean and the water was hot. It was lovely to be able to sit out on a balcony and read. The manager arranged a great safari to Bandula National Park and provided us with a very tasty breakfast to take with us. On leaving, they were able to arrange transport to our next hotel. The recently extended and beautifully decorated hotel is located in a quiet area...
