The hotel is in a lovely natural setting. We stayed in a deluxe room which would probably equate to a basic room in England. There were other more luxurious rooms if you wanted to spend more but the main thing for us was how friendly and helpful everyone was. The meals were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. You will regret it! The hotel is run by two young Sri Lankans. They seem like teenagers, but they are doing a decent job. The boss didn't say "hi" or goodbye, nor smile at us. Seemed like it bothered him that we were there. Because of mold, dirty floor, no Internet and a dirty toilet we switched rooms. The other room didn't have internet either, but was ok. In both rooms we had to ask for toilet paper and a mosquito net, although the description said it's standard (like the wifi, too). Starting at 6 in the morning there was a lot of noise caused by the staff on both days of our stay! That was very annoying and frustrating.
