There are day trip opportunities near by the Mt St. Helens Visitor center, small town Kalama and McMenimans w/rec area. Even an in town Woodland Thai restaurant was good ( Mai Thai). The room was spacious with everything you need with a retro feel. The bed was so comfortable, especially with the soft blanket, need to find that one. The soaker tub was enjoyable. « The Lewis River flows by just outside the door of this marvelous house. The well-stocked kitchen (condiments! Sharp knives! Toaster!) was super nice to use, and stores are a short drive away in Woodland. The homemade salmon dip was amazing! The hosts were friendly and helpful and stayed out of our hair once we checked in.
