Historic building with modern makeover of the interior . Very pleasant helpful staff . Well appointed bedrooms everything looked fresh and attractive . Lovely grounds too . Handy for buses into the city . And the bar snacks were excellent too .

Great location, close to town but in a quiet cul-de-sac.
Lovely property, well maintained and decorated. Open plan lounge /kitchen downstairs. Very comfortable bed and good quality bedding and towels. Clean, modern bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer provided.
Outdoor chairs provided to sit in the quiet courtyard in the front.
Perfect property for a couple to visit York.
