Reception staff were terrible at check in time. If you can, avoid checking in at 2pm. There were almost 10 parties waiting to check in and there was no system to identify who was waiting first. There was only 1 staff at the check in table at 2pm. Staff told some patrons to sit and wait while new patrons stood in line. Once they were ready to check someone new in, they called from the line rather than people sitting and waiting. When challenged, the staff were defensive and offered no apology for the error and wait time. Insgead, they argued with the customers and said they weren't aware since they were on their lunch break. The staff did not communicate to each other and no apologies were made.

Clean and tidy in both rooms and common areas with some lovely decorations up for Easter. Buffet breakfast had a good selection available and the chef was friendly and also happy to also cook omelette for guests if requested. The lifts are painfully slow even though there are 2 banks of lifts - it’s like it needs to power on each time you press the button.

All over happy with the service

There was crumbs on my bed sheets. Which implies the sheets weren’t clean. It’s in the take off zone of an airport so lots of planes flying overhead. There was lots of shipping containers on the block, and people came and picked them up in the morning of our stay which was a bit annoying. Host was very polite and accomodating, good communication. Showers had great pressure. Property is on tank water so you can’t drink from a tap but the host provided bottled water. Is a great location for if you wanted to have a party, lots of floor space and games rooms. Not much at all around the area

The location was excellent, for walking and for access to public transportation.The 3 bedroom suite had plenty of space for 4 adults. I had one meal in the restaurant, a chicken caeser salad, which was very good. But considering the cost of the stay, I expected the accommodations to be slightly better. There was supposed to be a VIP gift card, but the only perk offered was a free glass of house wine or beer in the bar, so I assume that was it. There was no coffee maker in the unit- just a kettle and instant coffee packets. (Coffee drinkers know this is unaccrptable.) The combination laundry washer/dryer was not ideal - no instructions were provided, and the dryer function ran so hot that the unit door would remain locked until it had cooled down, effectively holding my clothes hostage. On one occasion I tried to order a cocktail at the restaurant (full) bar, but the staff member did not know how to make any cocktails, so she told me my only alcohol options were wine or beer. Additionally, and not the fault of the Clarion, the casino across the river shot huge flames into the sky, every night from 9 to 12, on the hour. It was surprisingly loud and disturbing, once the initial fascination wore off. So, while I would stay in this area again, I would probably book different accomodations.
