Nobody at front desk for check in, even though within check in time. Rang bell by door and left messages at two different numbers provided on sign, but had to find housekeeping to assist. Was told that bell wasn’t working. Ice machine also not working; was told ice available (for free) at gas station. Opening in ceiling in shower from what seemed like an unfinished repair.

Good place for a quick nights rest on a long road trip. Was the better of two motel experiences on the trip. Nothing too fancy, but a good value for the cost of the room.

Both Beds was lopsided and left me with back pain. wifi was not working, phone was not working, ice machine was broken, shower could not stay on a constant temperature. Poor quality room. Poor quality facilities. Needs many upgrades.

Although it was a older hotel they kept it nice and up to date with their choice of furniture and decorating. It was very roomy and very quiet as well as affordable. I had a great two day stay here and would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Aberdeen.

I had to wait more than 15 minutes for someone to come check me in even though I arrived at 5:30. But it's very inexpensive and the rooms fine.

While the room is spacious and decent for the price, the horrible customer service was what ruined the stay for us. We arrived for check-in before posted closing hours and it took 20 mins to get someone to come to the door for check-in by ringing the doorbell and calling the desk repeatedly. When he did come, he was burping and yawning loudly, speaking incoherently, and he tried giving us the wrong room. When I corrected him on the room type, he grumbled even louder. The check-in process took much longer than expected due to his erratic behavior. On the second night we came back to find that we were unable to get into our room because somehow the inner security lock got flipped out preventing the door from opening. This time I was not willing to wait 20 minutes, so I continuously rang the doorbell at the front office (during posted open hours) until he came to open it, which still took 10 solid minutes. I have to return to the area once a month for the next several months and I was hoping to stay here again, but I’ll be making a reservation at another property due to the customer service here.

The door had a big crack underneath it, so cold air and noise from outside easily came in. Shower wasn’t so great. It kept switching from really hot to really cold on its own. Room kinda smelled like cigarettes.

I called to say I would be checking in late they said they didn’t have my reservation. The first two attempts to call were disconnected. I verified that I did have one. I asked if I could just get a room and I’d sort out the details later. They said they had one but not for two hours. Then I arrived 2 hours later - nobody was there or answering the phone. I called the posted number for after hour check in several times. First was a hangup. Next then he said he couldn’t check me in. We left and went to the travelodge instead of this dump. There were maybe 4 cars in the lot so I suspect we made a lucky escape.

Decent place for an Overnight
The Olympic Inn is the perfect place for us to stay while visiting our son in Aberdeen. They’ve recently done some upgrades that are quite cheery. They do need to replace some loose electrical sockets. Sometimes the plugs won’t stay in. They have plenty of parking and are very near a Denny’s for an easy breakfast in the morning.

Customer service from the young man who checked us in was not very friendly and a little rude. He had some strange comments to make that didn’t really make sense. The room smelled like it had been smoked in the past. They said they come to change towels on the 3rd day, however no one came in the whole 4 days we were there, to take trash out, clean, make beds or change towels. I didn’t see any cleaners there any time we were there. Maybe they were taking the week off?
