While the room is spacious and decent for the price, the horrible customer service was what ruined the stay for us. We arrived for check-in before posted closing hours and it took 20 mins to get someone to come to the door for check-in by ringing the doorbell and calling the desk repeatedly. When he did come, he was burping and yawning loudly, speaking incoherently, and he tried giving us the wrong room. When I corrected him on the room type, he grumbled even louder. The check-in process took much longer than expected due to his erratic behavior.
On the second night we came back to find that we were unable to get into our room because somehow the inner security lock got flipped out preventing the door from opening. This time I was not willing to wait 20 minutes, so I continuously rang the doorbell at the front office (during posted open hours) until he came to open it, which still took 10 solid minutes.
I have to return to the area once a month for the next several months and I was hoping to stay here again, but I’ll be making a reservation at another property due to the customer service here.
