Superb location. Used it as a jumping off point for the Shetland Ferry (10 min walk), and then for our onward trip to Edinburgh by train (5 min walk). Quick and cheap bus service from the airport, and rewarded with seemingly endless options for dining and shopping. Exceptional!!

Great service, ideal location and friendly staff though I thought that £10 per hour to check in early was a bit steep considering the room was obviously available

Our room was good but not cleaned properly every day. We stayed for 3 days but the bed linen was not changed once. Bathroom bin not emptied. We brought our own wipes and cleaned over the room every day. Good location, parking good in College Street car parking. But signage could be improved when you come down into the station and directions to the hotel. We would stay again.

Quite a while since I stayed at this hotel and like everything else, it's showing it's age. My first room had a blocked sink and there are no service personnel on at the weekend, so moved to a different room which had a crack in the sink and general décor issues. Meal delivered on a wooden "bat", really difficult to eat a burger off a piece of wood without stuff landing on the table. Not saying I wouldn't return, but I'll be checking out other hotels in the area.
