"This was the perfect get away for nothing but R & R! This home is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains secluded from the world. The only neighbors that you have is the deer family that graze in the field & on the crabapple tree, bunnies hopping across the yard, butterflies frolicking in the air & the hummingbirds stopping by to take a drink from their feeder on the front porch. They love to visit you while rocking away the time in the rocking chairs or swinging on the front porch swing. You can play a game or 2 of foosball on the porch as well. Bring your steaks, burgers & dogs to grill as the gas grill is ready to help you have a feast. Forgot seasonings? No worries there! This place is stocked with everything you can possibly need. Just bring your clothes, toothbrush & enjoy the comforts of home away from home. Three nice sized bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. The beds were comfortable & the bathrooms are stocked with shampoos, body washes, toilet tissue & tissues. No skimping here - nice name brand with softness. The entire home is warm and welcoming. Slightly dated, but still comfortable and welcoming. I look forward to staying here again when our family goes back to the mountains. Biggest perk…..It’s about an hour away from the new Buc-ee’s! "

The host was gracious and genenrous and wonderful with communication both through messages and through written signage around the property to tell you where everything is. The house has everything you would need plus more. I'm incredibly grateful for this stay and highly recommend anyone come here if theyre looking for a place to escape responsibility and explore wilderness"

"It was a very clean and comfortable place to stay, in a beautiful setting along the Tyre River. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. "Really nice tranquil cabin with a porch and fire pit overlooking a little river. Bed was super comfy, bathroom was a great size. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans. Coffee k cups and creamer and sugar was provided, which was so nice. Surprised my husband with this trip for his birthday and stayed with our 3yr old and 2 dogs. Multiple cabins on the property but they’re thoughtfully placed so that each cabin renter has their own privacy and space and view of the river. Cabin had everything we needed, even firewood for a fire and access to grills with propane. Owner was friendly and communicative. Really enjoyed the closeness to multiple nature parks and trails and breweries, wineries, and distilleries. We also really enjoyed seeing the state fish hatchery too and there is Montebello Resort close by that allows for fishing without a license as it’s private. A lady at Montebello did say that unfortunately the fish prefer cooler fall weather. The nights and mornings relaxing on the porch watching the river go on by were so rejuvenating. Thanks for a great stay."

"We just pulled back in our driveway after an amazing 2 days at this little slice of just absolute bliss. Cabins were new, the bed was comfy and nothing beats walking barefoot through the stream or sitting around the fire pit. Gorgeous views when the sun burns through the fog in the mornings too. We're definitely coming back! We were there with two other couples and you wouldn't even have known. The pollinator garden was a nice touch too. hank you! "

"Our stay was part of a week long trip to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We cannot say enough great things about our stay- our room was comfortable and cozy- the entire inn and staff are perfect for a quiet getaway and we didn’t want to leave. Food is excellent and many fun things to do close by including wineries and historic places and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Highly recommend- Brenda and Kevin are amazing hosts and people. We will be back!! "

"We didn’t know exactly what to expect when we got here and to say it was way beyond anything we could have imagined is an understatement!! The cabin was beautiful inside and out and the host was very responsive for any of our needs!! Coffee by a beautiful creek with a huge fire pit it was amazing!! I highly recommend this place 10/10!!!!!"
