Sit on deck or by fire pit. Free wood provided. 100 acre parcel that you can hike or hike off of Blue Ridge Parkway or Appalachian Trail, both of which are only mile and a half away. Lots of wineries, breweries, distilleries and Crabtree Falls just minutes away. Piney River biking trail nearby.You will love the remoteness and the solitude while in your cabin but the nearby amenities which you can enjoy. High speed internet in all cabins. The space was perfect for a couple, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating while also respecting our privacy. The cabin was brand new—immaculately clean, with a fresh, welcoming scent—and had all the modern amenities you’d expect in a quality rental. Our favorite feature was the covered porch, where we spent hours relaxing and listening to the soothing sounds of the creek just beyond. The secluded location on the mountainside was off the beaten path, yet with surprisingly fast, reliable WiFi, and a short drive to local attractions like Crabtree Falls and the Blueridge Parkway, making a nice home base while we hiked and took in the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The cabin is grouped with 3 others on the grounds but we never felt encroached upon by the other guests. We hardly saw or heard them at all. The layout of the cabins is well designed for privacy.
