"We had an amazing vacation here at Sutton’s Roost. Home was terrific for us and our kids. Tons of room, well stocked kitchen, hot tub and sauna to calm our aching muscles after hiking all over the place. Upper back porch to relax and eat and watch the stars. Game room for movie nights with giant TV. Huge comfy beds for all. Wintergreen resort and surrounding area is absolutely amazing. We hiked all the hikes they recommended, walked all over Wintergreen, played in multiple waterfalls, did a few cold plunges, ate at the Edge, went to Sherando Lake, thrift shopped in Waynesboro, bought groceries at th IGA and had an absolute blast. Highly recommend. Owners were wonderful. House was super clean, well stocked and exceeded every bit of our expectations. I’m currently doing research to see if i can get that same couch for my own house because it was so comfy!!! If I could give it 10 stars I would. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back!!"
"We loved our stay here! The perfect spot for a quiet get away. Beautiful overlooks to sit & enjoy. We are most grateful that we were able to bring our boys (dogs) with us on the quick getaway. "House was a perfect spot for 5 adults and 3 young children to hang out together. Bedroom separation is great. A king bedroom and bunk room upstairs with its own living area was ideal for family with young kids. House is well-appointed, beds were very comfortable, nice decor and good outdoor space with a level of privacy. Hot tub was a bonus! Home is located near the entrance to Wintergreen making trips into the valley easier (breweries, vineyards..). Note that home backs up to Wintergreen Dr. so there is some traffic (it did not bother us, but might bother someone who is looking for absolute quiet and seclusion). We would definitely book this property again!"

"Six women stayed here to cycle the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounds. Waller Lodge could not have been more perfect. Beautifully redone, clean, great layout, good sleeping spaces and a porch with a view to die for. This will be an annual visit. Thank you Jamie!"
