It was a great place to relax in and my kids loved the look and the hot tub. It was a perfect jumping off place for the Shenandoah National Park and there were a lot of apple cider breweries and other places to see nearby. The kids were a little disappointed that they did not see any bears but they had a great time! But this home was as advertised. The bed in the loft is a vertical climb, so be aware of that before assigning it to someone with vertigo, LOL. The fridge is fantastic; we used it to supplement the ice at the \*other\* house, since we were making so many cocktails, yay! It's a little dark inside, but hey, it's a log cabin in the woods. It's supposed to be a little dark. I was able to charge my electric car from an outlet on the front porch, so that was a bonus, too. The old AT trail access is just around the corner and we think that trail is one of the best trails in the resort. You can hike numerous circuits using this house as a starting point. The owners were very kind and a pleasure to work with. We will look forward to coming back to the Cozy Cabin on Top of the Mountain! ##### Nancy L. The cabin is spacious and very well equipped with all the essentials you need, kitchen items, linens, towels and nice upgrades to the bathrooms. We enjoyed the beautiful fireplace that added to the coziness of the cabin. Lastly, down the street from the cabin is the entrance to a trail the pups and I enjoyed exploring!
