"The hotel is clean, beautifully restored, and well appointed. The restaurants have great food. The included shops are interesting. And the staff is excellent. The location of the hotel between the river and the historic downtown area is awesome. For an easy getaway destination, Red Wing, MN and the St James Hotel are a perfect combination."

"The property was clean and well taken care of. The staff was very helpful, professional and courteous!! The only thing I would have liked would have been for the breakfast to be open a little longer as it was closed when I returned from an appointment for which I couldn’t eat beforehand."

"Clean, comfortable hotel in a great location. It’s surrounded by bars and restaurants. The parking garage attached to the hotel is not included in the nightly price but when we were there, it was only $16 for the night, not bad."
