« I've stayed here several times over the last couple of years. The team has done an excellent job of providing a lot of value for a budget hotel. It's not luxurious, but it is friendly, quiet, clean and professionally run. The surrounding area isn't anything to write home about, but it is safe, and there are many food options within walking distance or a mile or two driving. If you're looking for a good inexpensive place to stay in JC or just traveling up I-26, this Super 8 is a very solid...

« You won’t find a better property in chimney rock. They did a great job with the updates to the grounds and the rooms. The “backyard” is amazing. The only negative to come by is the $50 charge to check in early. $50 for a couple hours? If the room is ready, let the guests in! I know it’s policy and I get it. Lots of hotels try it, just pet peeve of mine when traveling. Again though, just an amazing spot! »

« Reservation non respectée! Le prix a été augmenter lors de notre arrivée. La durée du séjour a été écourtée d'une nuit lors de l'enregistrement. L'hôtel est délabrée et malpropre. la piscine non fonctionnelle. Le hall d'entrée est insalubre et l'odeur est dégoutante! Le personnel est indifférent à respecter les termes de la réservation (pourtant effectuée plus de 7 mois auparavent). Nous avons annulés notre réservation sur place. Endroit fortement déconseillé. »

« Motel atypique, acceuil sympa, mais impossible de dormir car les voisins des 2 chambres de chaque cotė, très alcoolisés ont parlé, crié, chanté sous la véranda jusqu'à 3 h du matin malgré plusieurs demandes de notre part d'arrêter. Petit déjeuner en libre service, une de ces "voisines bruyantes " à emporté tous les fruits, baffles les petits pots de lait etc... Motel sympa mais mal fréquenté »

« Spruce Pine Inn was a great value for my son and I while snowboarding 1hr away at Beech Mountain. The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating during both days of our stay. It’s not the “Hilton”, but for $50/night on a weekend, we couldn’t have been happier. »

"Hotel très bruyant car donne sur la rue et la porte et la fenêtre ne sont pas insonorisés. Système de chauffage/climatisation d’ancienne génération donc très bruyant. Petit déjeuner immonde. Pas de pain, toast, bagel, confiture… rien! Des œufs brouillés en poudre immangeables et des waffles. Gratuit, ou plutôt inclus dans le prix mais valeur égale à zéro. Ah, j’oubliais, la préposée au petit déjeuner ne parle pas anglais et ne comprend rien à rien."
