Wonder Valley Vacation Rentals

"I recently stayed at Motel 6 and wanted to share my experience. Overall, I have stayed at this location multiple times and have usually had positive interactions with the staff. Caren has always greeted me with respect and courteous service. She is consistently pleasant and professional, and it makes check-in a smooth and welcoming experience every time. Sara is also wonderful. Whenever I stay overnight, she checks in to see if I need anything and is always kind, helpful, and a joy to interact with. Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager, Emilio, was very different. He came across as extremely rude and unfriendly. Hospitality is a customer-facing role, and the way guests are greeted sets the tone for their entire stay. His demeanor was not welcoming and did not reflect the level of customer service I have come to expect from this location. I appreciate the excellent service from Caren and Sara, but I hope management addresses how guests are treated so that all visitors receive the same respectful and friendly experience."

"Clean room. Looks like it was recently remodeled. Great location near Joshua Tree National Park. Really nice breakfast."

"I had an excellent stay. The house is exactly as described. The hot tub was wonderful and I watched the sunset from it a number of nights. The game room was super fun. The kitchen is well equipped. The neighborhood is very quiet but super close to everything you come to Joshua Tree for. I saw a coyote on the other side of the fence on a couple of occasions, which was super cool."

"This is a classic American motel. It was an absolute bargain and exactly what we needed for an overweight stop. A clean and convenient place to sleep and shower, with shops and restaurants close by for dinner and breakfast. There was also a little kitchenette and coffee provided in the room which was a welcome change after Vegas, where you get nothing for free!"

"The hotel stay itself was good - the breakfast is good and the room was clean. However, nowhere on Expedia does it say that there is a charge for parking. This isn’t in an area where one would expect people to park that don’t belong there. In addition, when I got my credit card bill, they charged me for the room when I had already prepaid through Expedia. I’m waiting for my refund. But I can’t recommend this hotel because of these issues. "

"The cabinet door for the refrigerator enclosure had hinges that were about to fall off."

"For the price you can’t beat it. Not the cleanest but otherwise the room has all you need and the staff is amazing. Would stay again."

"Great location to the park. Had to request a new room- booked non-smoking and first room smelled strongly of smoke. First and second room were both not clean in the bedroom and bathroom. Linens across the room were visibly not clean (hair, staining, etc.). For one night, it was ok. However, we would most likely not return. "
