Nice place and friendly staff!

Great location and view

The room itself was in good condition, the pull out couch was out for our convenience when we got in. The AC worked wonders. The on site restaurant pizza was -Chefs kiss-. The location is perfect, right across street from a decent restaurant, 5m walk to marina. Bus stop practicly right out side. The down side though, we got there at 4pm, check in time, and the time to check in was about 30 minutes of waiting for the group infront of us, only 1 desk worker. There's only 2 small elevators, often you hit the button and its packed with people so you need to wait again. The bedroom TV was not connected to the internet, but the lounge room tv was. The TV kept randomly disconnecting from the OKTV network, to the point I had to just watch my Disney+ cocomelon on my phone with my toddler. The parking garage... is TIGHT! Look out for random poles my truck barely fit in the garage, and going around 2F turn theres a random white column in middle of the drive, almost ran into it lol. If you do not have questions, willing to wait, and just want a place to lay your head down, strongly recommend this place. If you require network, quiet, or a good view, look elsewhere. Why were the group infront of us given a free upgrade to ocean view, when ocean view when we reserved (day before) unavailable?...

Pool areas were great for little kids..Rooms were spacious.

The bad: Housekeeping was awful. Was there for a whole week and there was only ONE DAY that house keeping replaced our towels. Took two days to get replacement towels - TWICE- and it's only because I chased the housekeeper down to get them. Had to plead my case with her because she didn't have enough for the floor. I took the last of her towels and she still had at least half the floor to go still***This is obviously a management issue.**** Also had to go to front desk to get t.p. twice because housekeeping did not replace (guessing same reason- they didn't have enough to replace whole hotel that needed them). Had to buy our own pack from the little mart on the main floor one day bc the hotel had NONE Breakfast was sparse AT BEST. Two cereal options, bagel, toast, packaged mini muffin (one flavor), packaged hard boiled eggs, yogurt and pancakes. There were 'fresh' apples and mandarin oranges but the oranges were far past ripe and inedible. As stated in reviews MONTHS AGO- there was only one elevator. No exaggeration- we would wait nearly 10 minutes for the elevator to get to our floor (9 floor hotel). The fact that there is still only one elevator after it being down for months says management doesn't care. The good: our room was clearly cleaned very thoroughly prior to our check in. Have been to other hotels where we walked into a pile of sand. Staff was super friendly and helpful. store on 1st floor was convenient- staff there awesome as well. THE OCEANVIEW is great
