Windy Hill Vacation Packages

Our air conditioner wasn’t working and we had to open the doors for air which caused bugs to fly in. They only offered us $120 back and we paid $1,240 plus and additional $90 for parking.

The weekend we booked there was no house keeping for some reason. Our toilet was broke the whole time even after they fixed it. Tv was in and out when we did watch it. Staff was really nice and friendly just wish I didn’t sleep in the same bedding the whole time and had a broom or something in the room to clean up the sand that came in with us. There was some type of private events that made those people seem more important than the ones that paid to stay there. Those people had access to breakfast while we had to walk down to the bistro for food or drinks and pay out of pocket.

Location was excellent. Beach view from the room was amazing. Only disadvantage was the rooms were very noisy. Doors bang with loud noise, car and bike alarms from parking zone, were very disturbing in the night.

The good: the beach, pools and slides are good for kids. The bad: so many little annoyances and sanitation issues. Housekeeping only takes trash nothing else so the sand you drag in to your room accumulates on the floors and beds. Pull out sofa was full of crumbs and what looked like some pubes. Creamer was god-knows how old and and i almost threw up when i had some in my coffee. Pool has the worlds cheapest towels and threatens to charge you $40 if you don’t return them the same day you checked them out. A few bugs in the room. $50/day for beach chairs. Have to cross the street to get to the front desk. Big group of teens using the entire pool for a football game while my 3 year old was trying to swim in it and no staff in sight to intervene. I could go on, but generally I was disappointed other than the nice pools, slides, splash pad and beach access. Kids mostly liked it.

Other than our tiller not working for the first 2 how’s it was lovely
