Excellent stay in a unique tiny home. Cute industrial area and very walkable to the downtown core. We stayed here as a central base to wine tour, ATV at the sand dunes, explore the coast, Portland and shopping. Perfect spot!

This was a very unique and fun place to stay on our Oregon trip this spring. All the trailers were a little different from each other but had their own charm. Lots of room on our deck and bikes to tour the grounds. The shower house/bathhouse was extremely clean and was used instead of the tiny one in our trailer. The Fireside area was a great place if you wanted to sit around propane fire tables with a beverage in the evening.
As trailer owners it was neat to stay in a vintage trailer and see...

The best area to stay in Willamina is directly within the town centre, particularly for those looking for convenience and a local experience.
Willamina itself is a small but welcoming town, with its main street, "Main Street", being the central hub. Here you'll find local shops, eateries, and a sense of community. The town is located in the foothills of the Coast Range, offering a peaceful setting with easy access to outdoor activities.
Couples looking for a tranquil escape will appreciate Willamina's quiet charm. You can enjoy strolls along the Yamhill River, which runs nearby, or explore the local antique shops. The area is also a good base for exploring the nearby wine country, with many vineyards just a short drive away.
For families, staying in Willamina provides a relaxed environment away from busier tourist areas. The town has a few local parks, and its proximity to the Siuslaw National Forest means there are plenty of opportunities for hiking and nature exploration.
When is the best time to go to Willamina?
The best time to visit Willamina is during the late spring to early autumn months, specifically from May to October, when the weather is generally warm and dry, making it ideal for outdoor activities.
During these months, you'll find pleasant temperatures, typically ranging from 18°C to 28°C. This period is superb for exploring the nearby Willamina Creek or enjoying the surrounding natural beauty of the Coast Range foothills. Many local farms and vineyards are also in full swing, offering tastings and tours.
For those interested in fishing, particularly for salmon and steelhead, the late autumn (September and October) can be particularly rewarding as the fish run in the local rivers. The cooler temperatures during this time also make it comfortable for hiking and enjoying the changing colours of the foliage.
While Willamina is a lovely destination year-round, the winter months, from November to April, tend to be cooler and значительно wetter, which might limit some outdoor plans.
