« I would really like to see an improvement regarding the shower room door; it does not close properly and tends to swing open while in use. I experienced the same issue during a previous stay. Also, the cleanliness of the bathroom floor was not up to par; I found long hairs that clearly did not belong to us, likely left behind by a previous guest. Additionally, if possible, I would like to see more seating in the breakfast area, as there were no seats available during busy times. Apart from those...

« There was no tissue paper in the room, the shampoo and conditioner were insufficient, and there weren't enough bath towels for the number of guests. Well, I suppose you get what you pay for. »

« The condition of the property was as described in the listing. Good location within walking distance of downtown. I would have rated it higher, but we could not get the electronic door lock to work from the outside. I contacted the management company for help, but they did not help. So, we packed everything back in our car when we left for dinner because we didn't want to leave it all in the unlocked room while we were gone. « Cute little hotel in the middle of town. This is an old hotel that has been tastefully refreshed. Room was small but clean with a brand new bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I could park right outside my room. I received a code within two hours of my check-in and the lock system worked well. What could improve the hotel is a bolt lock or some kind of additional lock on the inside to help me feel more secure at night. »

« Michillinda Lodge is a historic resort - not lavish, but clean and beautiful. Several outdoor amenities such as a tennis/pickleball court and a swimming pool are provided. The property sits atop a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan and provides access to a small beach. The staff is friendly and skilled. Our stay was relaxing and surrounded with beauty. »

« I loved the decor, the cottage feeling. The check in was simple. The Wi-Fi was easy to access. Fresh bottled water in the fridge was thoughtful. I would stay here again. »
