« Great place to stay with plenty of room for the 8 of us. Lots of extras included which is such a bonus. Had everything we needed. Loved the outdoor space as well, great lake. Amazing fishing with blue gill, sun fish, perch, bass, pike, and bowfin. Kids stayed busy for hours. The kids loved kayaking, fishing from the paddle boat, and swimming on the raft. If we ever come back to this area would definately stay again!! »

« We really liked this rental. We came on a Saturday and it was pretty busy with the neighbors but things calmed down over the week which was nice. The screened porch was great and we used it a lot. One thing to be aware of which is not a criticism it's just how it is, that the swimming platform in front of the property is not owned by the property (it's been upgraded from the pictures in the listing and there are two diving boards on it and it's really nice). « Stay was again wonderful like last year. There was an issue with cottage and owners were contacted and the problem was resolved very quickly. This is a great scenic, quiet, and centrally located place to stay on Lake Idlewild. I look forward to it again next year. »

« Had a wonderful time. Nice small updated cottage type home neslted in woods on a hillside near the lake. We stayed in wintertime so tree leaves we gone and had a view of the lake.The properrty itself is not large, but ample enough to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub.Mike, the host, was wonderful. Quick communication before and during our stay. Thanks Mike! A couple things worth noting: the two bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. « This was our second visit to this property, and was just as we remembered. Cozy, quiet, with easy access to the water. The property is very well maintained, both inside and out. Kayaking and pedal boating are great here with the well maintained vehicles and equipment provided. The well water does take a bit of getting used to, but I was okay with it before we left. We will certainly be booking here again in the future! »

« Cute cabin that met our needs. It was however difficult to find in the evening. We were given 2 different addresses which complicated matters. There needs to be clear directions to locate the cabin. When we called customer service for clarification the information they supplied were not very clear either. »
