Morning light filters through floor‑to‑ceiling windows, stretching across the fairway and framing mountains rising beyond the trees. Inside, the warmth of an indoor fireplace draws everyone together after a day on nearby trails. Later, you can slip into the hot tub beneath evergreen branches, letting the crisp mountain air frame a quiet evening under the Whistler sky.
Living spaces
Set beside the first tee of the Nicklaus North, this two-level chalet offers inviting spaces for gathering and unwinding. Natural stone accents and exposed log beams create a classic Whistler atmosphere, while an upgraded media room and TV make cozy nights in especially easy. Whether you’re returning from the slopes, a golf game or enjoying a slow afternoon indoors, the open living area stays connected to the mountain views beyond the glass.
Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is designed for shared meals and easy conversation, featuring a Wolf gas range, granite countertops, and a center island. A dining table seats eight beside wide windows overlooking the fairway, offering a comfortable place to linger over coffee or a home-cooked dinner.
Sleeping arrangements
The upper level holds four bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The primary suite includes a king-sized bed, fireplace, TV, and a private sundeck with scenic views. A second bedroom offers a queen bed, while the third includes a king bed. The fourth bedroom features two bunk beds, a TV, and a lounge area with bean bags and a sofa. A powder room on the main floor adds extra convenience.
Bathrooms & comfort
With 4.5 baths, the home is well suited for groups, offering space to refresh and settle in after outdoor adventures. Bathroom essentials are provided for a comfortable stay.
Amenities
You’ll have Wifi, a dedicated workspace with desk, and in-suite laundry with a free washer and dryer. The home also includes heating, portable fans, and thoughtful safety features such as smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a safe. Self check-in with a smart lock makes arrivals simple.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patios and balconies. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A double garage provides parking for two vehicles, complemented by a driveway with space for additional cars. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

Nicklaus North is a prestigious neighborhood located on the southern edge of Green Lake, just a 5-minute drive from Whistler Village. Centered around the renowned Nicklaus North Golf Course, the area offers stunning lake and mountain views year-round. In summer, residents enjoy easy access to golf, Lost Lake trails, and the Valley Trail network. In winter, the neighborhood transforms into a serene base for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. With a peaceful, residential feel and close proximity to Whistler’s amenities, Nicklaus North is ideal for guests seeking scenic beauty and quiet luxury.

Great spot for family ski vacation

Great location to Whistler Village (2.9km) and Lost Lake mountain bike trail system. Paved bike trails lead all the way to Village. The house is great for a multi-generational family, we had elementary/high school aged kids and grandparents. Highly recommend walking to the restaurant at the golf course for breakfast! The staff at Platinum Whistler was very responsive.

The home was spacious, larger than photos led us to believe. We enjoyed the second family room with its Large screen, numerous windows. It was a great place to gather after a busy day. The dining table accommodated all of us including a high chair. and the open kitchen was a great place to prepare meals. our family would consider renting it again.

This Whistler Home Will Wow!
We just finished our stay at this lovely property. It is just like the pictures; with a lovely back porch overlooking the mountains, the spa and Nicklaus North Golf Course hole #1. Kitchen has everything you need to cook fantastic meals, wood-burning fireplace a delight to come home to and plenty of space for family or friends to gather.
Staff is attentive, entry easy and suggestions helpful for making reservations at local restaurants. Rimrock was our favorite!
This place is worth the spend.

Big Sky Chalet is the perfect home away from home
I rented this home for my 40th birthday as we snowboarded on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. This home is minutes away from all restaurants, shopping, and winter activities in Whistler Village. Whistler Platinum properties were a pleasure to work with; they are kind, responsive and timely concerning and inquiry or request. The home was georgeous, clean, spacious, and had every amenity needed while you stay away from home. Free concierge service was also helpful. I highly recommend this rental property for your next stay! We certainly made some great memories.

Perfect for Whistler
The house was exactly as advertised. It was abundently clear that the owners stay at this house at times as it is well appointed, maintained, and views are spectacular. I appreciated how clean the house was and that the kitchen was well equipped. The boot and glove dryer in garage was a great bonus! The kids and friends enjoyed the hot tub.
Management company responded promptly to text messages and more than accommodating.
We would love to return.

Family Gathering
It’s a beautiful home , nicely designed and very spacious. Kids play piano, so having the piano in the room is really a joy for us. We have a wonderful stay and many great memories at this place. We will definitely consider this place for our future trip.
The only thing that I like to mention is there are so many mosquitoes around. It could be just the time of the year, or caused by the pond nearby. It could be uncomfortable at times since we do need to open doors for ventilation, and some of the door screens are not working perfectly. Just wanted to share, we still had a great time.

The Host was very helpful!!! We have stayed in many VRBO's This was by far was the most Immaculate home we have ever stayed in!! The home was equipped with everything you could ever need or want. Home Away From Home For Life!
We had another wonderful Thanksgiving family gathering at Big Sky Chalet. The new couches in living and theatre room and grand piano are awesome additions by the new owner. This home offers everything you need to relax and enjoy quality time together or in cohorts across the various sitting/relaxing areas from the patio/hot tub to theatre room to the living room with a fire crackling away. The furniture is high quality and comfortable and decor and art just beautiful to complement the nature surroundings of the trees, greenery and mountains (fall before the snowfall!). Highly recommend but just not for our annual Thanksgiving weekend visit!

What a House!
Thank you whistler platinum - this house exceeded all our expectation. I echo the comments of previous reviews, we dont really want this secret getting out. The house was bigger and more private than the photos let on. Nothing quite like having a beer in the hot tub and have a brown bear walk by across the pond on the golf course. We had amazing dinners in the big kitchen and everyone had plenty of space in each room with their own closet and ensuite bathrooms. The house was tidy and we appreciated the cleaning service we got mid stay. Maddi was great to work with and promptly replied to any requests we had. We\'ll be back.

Reluctantly sharing our amazing experience
We are somewhat reluctant to share about our incredible time at big sky chalet - as we hope to book again really soon and want there to be availability!
This home is so incredibly cozy, classy, well equipped and family friendly – yet romantic too! It will meet every need imaginable in a private beautiful and convenient prime Whistler location.
The team at Whistler Platinum was outstanding as well- from first point of contact throughout our stay with any question or need as had.
Highly recommend and this will for sure be our new home away from home.
