"I don't know what it's like in the summer, but in the winter they just don't seem to care. We got to the breakfast area a half hour after they said it opened and we had to plug in the toaster and turn on the waffle maker. No juice of any kind. very small selection of food."

"Stunning cabin and fantastic atmosphere! We stayed here for a friend’s weekend in February. The property is just as stunning in the winter as it is looks from its summer pictures. There was plenty of room and great amenities. Hot tub with a tv in the gazebo was a huge hit, but we also loved the projector and ping pong table down stairs. Kitchen was stacked with dishes and cooking utensils. There is a lot of natural light during the day which is fantastic! Our one note was if we ever stayed again we would bring headlamps for late night board games, it got a little dark in the main room. The over head light in the dining room is very cozy but doesn’t put out a lot of light. But that is such a small thing compared to how great everything thing was and the hosts were incredibly responsive and thought of all the little things that really make a stay special. We would for sure be back and fell in love with thunder lake. Already planning a fall trip if we can "
