Very bad service and staffs weren't helpful.

The property looked clean and as well kept as it could be for being an older property. Once I walked in, you could just smell the older smell of a an old hotel. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. I checked in and went up to my room. Everything looked like there was an effort to make it a Holiday Inn Express & Suites but sometimes it’s hard to out lipstick on a pig. New paint and carpet only goes so far. The room smelled like an old locker room locker. There was visible grime on the walls and alone the baseboards. The bathroom was clean to the naked eye but there was “mold” looking areas in the shower and all of the edges needed a good cleaning from the years. There was something that looked like mold above the window. The window itself was “foggy” from condensation through the years. The corners in the room were neglected from a vacuum. The quilt on the bed had what looked like pizza sauce stained on it. I could not stay any longer so asked for a refund and left. I was extremely disappointed with the facility itself as I’ve never had a bad experience at this chain. The receptionist was very kind and I felt bad even coming back down because I could tell they cared about my stay.

Great stay for one night.
