The cabin was very clean, tastefully decorated, full of amenities, and set on private serene setting near the creek. The deck overlooking the creek has a gorgeous fire table that we enjoyed sitting at, visiting, and playing games on too. We left with so many wonderful lasting memories. Loved the hiking so close to the property too. We would definitely stay here again if back near Westcliffe. I heard repeated high pitch "coughs" in the middle of the night, thought it might be a bobcat, I Googled bobcat sounds and that was it. Pretty cool. We will be back!! ##### marv o. Overall our stay in this property was great. Richard was very available and provided a ton of information at check-in. The location is hard to beat, being set back in the woods, but close enough to town that it's not out of the way. The place could use some minor maintenence like replacing light bulbs and such, and we did have a little trouble with the lock on the side entrance, though immediately upon being informed Richard had someone out to look at it, so that didn't affect our experience much. If I'm ever back in Westcliffe I would definitely stay here again! Everyone in town was beyond nice to us, too, which was a huge plus! ##### Kris P. Aug 29, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Hidden gem We picked this cabin because it was surrounded by trees and had a small stream just off the back deck. The cabin wasn't huge or too small, just comfy, it was quiet, with the exception of the small stream which we enjoyed. We saw numerous deer, squirrels and a small bird landed on the deck railing two feet away where we were sitting. It rained every afternoon and evening during our 2 1/2 day stay which was unusual according to our friends we were visiting. Before the rain showers, we sat on the deck visiting and enjoying nature. We hope to stay again here again on our next visit ##### marv o.
