"Great place to stay!"
Not a hotel, not a B&B; rather, staying here is like having an amazing, very large apartment in a great part of town. The accommodations are first class, spacious, clean, modern and very well-appointed, verging on luxurious; yet, the price was quite reasonable. We had a separate living room, with a dining area and a kitchen, a guest bathroom, and a separate bedroom with a closet and an adjacent, large bathroom. The staff is friendly and helpful, but discreet and essentially unnoticed unless you seek interaction. We did not avail ourselves of the room service, because there is so much good food out there In Edinburgh, but I imagine, based on the attention provided to everything else, that the food would have been just fine. The location is great, in a peaceful, quiet, and lovely residential neighborhood filled with beautiful Georgian buildings, and numerous places to eat and drink, and it's an easy ten minute walk to the intersection of Princes Street and Lothian Road. If you like to walk, you can be at the Castle and its surroundings within 25 to 30 minutes. We highly recommend!

"Top class accommodation and lovely staff."
Had a brilliant time at this Hotel. We did have a double room which was not like a hostel at all. The only complaint was other guests leaving early in the morning being loud and slamming doors. I do feel they should be reminded that other people do use the hotel too. Other than that there is not a single complaint. Thank you.

"Wonderful B and B in the West End"
Good location in West End. Close to restaurants and transportation. Wonderful personable staff, more like friends who went out of their way for us. They packed us a tasty lunch for the road. Very knowledgeable about things to do, good restaurants and transportation in Edinburgh. Great hardy breakfast to start the day. Extra candy and drink in the room. Large very clean bedroom and bathroom. Would definitely stay there again just to talk with Aileen and company.

"Great boutique hotel, good location, amaxing staff"
The hotel has only 12 rooms and is very intimate and stylish. We had room 12, on a previous stay we had room 9. Some rooms are standard others junior suite. We loved the staff who were incredibly friendly, helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic as was the steak house Kyloe. Just stunning facilities. Besides so machine in each room, great amenities in the bathroom, paper in the morning. Everything was just perfect.

"Good place to feel at home for an extended stay"
The downsides were that the dryer function on the clothes washer-"dryer" never worked; and that the wifi was terribly unreliable the whole time. But the staff was usually responsive to these and other issues. And it felt a lot more like home to stay in this apartment than in some tiny hotel room. And even having only a washer part of the washer-dryer was a plus.

"Nice hotel right opposite Haymarket Station"
The hotel is nice but a bit expensive. I booked a twin room for me and my brother but it was so small that we had to ''take turns'' to walk and move across the room. One bed was right in the middle of it and I had to jump (literally) over it to reach the other side and shut the window. There's no tea/coffee set and only one small hand-cream-size tube of shampoo (in a twin room), two hand towels and a small round piece of soap. Breakfast is not included. In conclusion, do I recommend this hotel? Yes, if only for one or two nights and if you don't find anything better. Overall it's nice and clean and tidy, and the staff are kind. Though, I think it's not worth the money you spend. Positive aspect: you just have to cross the road to go to Haymarket Station.
