"A bit disappointed that they did not provide blanket for the sofa bed. Sheets were provided, but no blanket. Didn't like that you're required to wash your own dishes or load them into dishwasher and other tasks.. felt like I was paying to stay in hotel but had chores to do. Front desk is not 24/7. But the place was nice and clean. easy parking. Front desk lady was professional but not really friendly."

"There was no hand or bath soap, or shampoo in our room. Husband went to front desk to retrieve and he was given 3 tiny bottles of hand soap for 2 people to use for all 3 purposes. Lady at front desk was not very welcoming upon arrival or friendly, not even a tiny smile. I didn't ask my husband about how happy she was to see him when he requested soap. Would guess not very much or she may have provided more soap. Breakfast was very good and well stocked. There were many people there eating and service was very prompt, friendly and helpful. Area was very clean. Found out after we checked in that railroad tracks and Amtrak ran right in the back of the hotel. We were very tired but surprised that the noise did not keep us awake. We were about in the middle of the hotel. I needed a blanket, none in the room, as was freezing (to me, at 65 degrees) although we turned it up to 73. Still sheets were cold, hence the blanket. Husband went down for that also. No problem getting one. Bathroom floor and baseboard could have had a good scrubbing but was ok for a one night stay. Lots of dirt buildup in the end corners of tile on floor, clearly visible. Beds and pillows comfy, which is the main thing. Sheets and blanket clean with light, pleasant fragrance. All in all was nice place to rest. We would stay again."

"Clean room, a little bit older facility but absolutely wonderful for families. A great pool and sprayground, basketball hoop, mini golf, playground. An easy walk to the colonial Williamsburg shops and historic buildings, easy drive to Jamestown"

"Very nice resort with friendly staff in most areas. Wonderful pool area at the spa Room was comfortable but found a little mold in the bottom plastic part of the shower doors and some corners. Bathroom floors were not very clean and the carpet could use a deep steam clean. Nice lazy river but of course, it got too crowded labor day weekend. The Mill had very good food and drinks and sweet staff- great $2 ice cream deal . Kitchen in the room was nicely stocked. The food at the seafood restaurant was sub par and poor value for the money. Much better food off the resort. Was there for my child's PGA junior league regionals and it was alot of fun."

Comfort Inn Williamsburg Gateway

"Individuals at front desk were extremely friendly and professional. Our room was huge (room 201 - suite w/3 beds + 2 bathrooms), clean, and perfect for our family of 5. Blackout blinds were greater and very much appreciated. The free breakfast was okay - nice to have a convenient free option available, but not particularly good (just meh) . But lots of other options nearby so not a big dealz"
