Watkins Vacation Packages

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to a significant bug problem, limited housekeeping, and difficulty reaching the front desk. When we first arrived, our room was infested with what appeared to be ladybugs or Asian beetles. We also saw stink bugs and another type of bug we couldn’t identify. We were told this happens during this time of year. While I understand that seasonal pests can be an issue, the number of bugs in our room was unacceptable and made it difficult to feel comfortable. Housekeeping only came once during our stay, and even then, very little appeared to have been cleaned or replenished. We ran out of toilet paper, and I called the front desk multiple times without an answer. I eventually found a housekeeping cart in the hallway and had to get it myself. A clean, comfortable room, basic supplies, and responsive service are reasonable expectations for any hotel stay. Unfortunately, those expectations were not met.

El aire acondicionado hace mucha bulla dentro de la habitación, no había utensilios como shampoo ni jabón y la habitación se sentía la mugre en la alfombra

From the moment we arrived, the man at the desk across from us was rude. Perhaps because we're from Mexico. There's no 24-hour coffee shop. He never told us the breakfast hours or the location of the amenities. We visited the pool at night, and the water was very dirty, with a layer of grime on top. The sink was dirty. The bathroom and the room are very small. We travel frequently, and this is the first time we've experienced an IHG hotel in such poor condition, with such low cleanliness and poor service from the staff.
