"We had a wonderful stay here for our anniversary and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The hotel had such a warm, inviting atmosphere and was beautifully presented throughout, with everything feeling clean, well cared for and thoughtfully put together. It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary, and we genuinely couldn’t fault our stay. The welcoming feel made it extra special, and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay. Thank you for making our anniversary stay so enjoyable. We would absolutely love to return! ❤️"

"Hotel has great location. Although looks Dated from outside, inside the hotel is welcoming and comfortable. Staff were helpful, room clean and spacious. Breakfast buffet was pleasant with good range of foods"

"We were delighted to find we were staying in a stately home worthy of Downton Abbey. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Wonderful spaces for the guest with fireplaces and comfortable chairs in beautifully coordinated fabrics, as you'd expect from the previous home of Laura Ashleys family, (although subtley not massively floral). The restaurent was lovely and the food superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds and views over the Brecon Beacons was lovely, with lots of pubs nearby, and other restaurents in nearby Brecon. Our room had a confortable 4 poster bed and lovely ensuite with a seperate shower and Bath, and a great view. It was one floor up and the stairs were wide and not steep so I managed with my stick. We were able to park right out the front door in the big turning circle. Overall it could not have been better!"
