"Julie and Brian's love and pride for their property does not come short! They have been one of the greatests hosts we have come across! The property is very secluded with views that are just absolutely stunning. The sunrises and sunsets just hit different from this property on a hill. Julie and Brian were nothing but accomodating and very helpful. The cottage is immaculate and the property is beautifully maintained. They put in some hard work in maintaining it and it shows! "Delightful -- well appointed (especially in kitchen utensils). Wonderful to have welcome snacks and plenty of coffee for the stay! Owners prompt and thorough in communication. It is easy to get to from not only Hwy 3 but also subsidiary roads if you want to avoid the Wasilla traffic. Be sure to read welcome manual in advance about the heating system!"

"What a charming cabin! It was very welcoming. I greatly appreciated the instructions that were texted to us, and that were left in the cabin. That was very helpful. We had a very relaxing stay and a lot of fun. It was great to have the games and the DVDs there; our grandchildren spent a couple of nights with us, as well, because it was such a nice place. "This home was larger than we thought it looked online, an older home but cozy. We had an extended stay and had no problems fully living life in here. Really is dog friendly. We and our dog were endlessly entertained by the local dogs which were insanely friendly. A nice safe area for walking with amazing views of mountains. Loved the drive, and Hatcher Pass and Government Peak are minutes away."
