Drive off the freeway to a long driveway into nature. Large Energy efficient Solar house with EV charger. Walk into the foyer overlooking the great room with a large screen internet TV, gas fireplace, and comfy leather reclining sectional. Deck with gas grill and outdoor seating. Open floor plan with modern kitchen that has gas range, dishwasher, fridge, granite counters, and bar top with stools. 6 bedrooms,and 4 full bathes. Lower level rec room with pool table, wet bar and undercounter fridge, large TV and table for games. Great for entertaining.

Check in 4pm, check out at 10am, as we have to prepare the house for our next guests. Thank You!

Family Trip to Washington DC

This home worked well for our group of 8, with lots of space and plenty of bathrooms! The pool table was a big hit with everyone. It was very easy access to the Metro. The neighborhood was quiet with a nice amount of space around the house. The Owner was very responsive when we had a couple of problems. Housing being what they are there are always unexpected issues that arise that are not anyone's fault.

The house was in a very quiet neighborhood just outside of D.C. It was very easy to get to the Metro and the D.C. area. The house had plenty of space for a full family and friends.

Great place for a DC visit

This place was perfect for our group of 10 visiting the DC area. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone to spread out comfortably. The house is located 2 minutes from the Huntington metro station, so we parked there every morning and then rode the metrorail to anywhere we wanted to go. Very easy and convenient! Communication with Larry was prompt whenever we needed anything.

DC Bike trip

Our group of friends really enjoyed our stay at this house! It had plenty of room and the location was perfect for us and the things we wanted to do. Some of the furnishings ( kitchen chairs ) are showing lots of wear but didn’t stop us from using them😁

Perfect Location, perfect space for larger group!

This was such an ideal location for us and the perfect house for our group of 11! We brought our homeschool group for a DC trip and couldn’t have found a better place. Close to the metro, great sleeping spaces. There are two tables that up to 12 people could eat at. The beds were so comfortable. Larry was great with communication. Will definitely recommend for future groups.

Great for a Family gathering.

Beautiful! The house was everything we hoped for. The bedroom and bathroom on the main floor was really helpful since I use a walker. I highly recommend it to anyone that can't do stairs! The kitchen was fully equiped. It was close to our family wedding. I did miss watching the news......

2024 Bucket List Trip to DC

3 brothers and their spouses traveled to DC on a Bucket List trip for the oldest brother who is a Vietnam Veteran. We wanted to get away from the rat race but still enjoy all of the sites that we wanted to go to (Arlington, Mount Vernon, The Mall and the Memorials.) Used the Metro and the bus to get around and it was perfect! Came back each night and rest well outside of the noise and confusion and woke each morning to coffee on the quite patio and planned out day. The house was amazing and quite and we enjoyed it very much! Thank you Larry!

Be Comfortable and Get Where You Want to Go!

Great location for DMV area and activities. METRO, bus, easy access to 495/95/395/295 Reagan National airport and more. Lyft and Uber access easily obtained. Food deliveries without a problem. Hints from owner on using mapping apps worked well. Many positive comments on comfortable beds. Location of main floor bedroom and bath very helpful for mobility challenged individual. Home layout provided space for those who had to "work from home" during visit. Watching the black squirrel activity from windows and deck was fun for our toddler. Very quick response from owner to text messages. Provided the Overall rating of 4 given as the kitchen had everything but would suggest better organization and some small home maintenance chores be accomplished throughout the house. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great sized house in a perfect location!

We had a large group of 8 for a convention at the Gaylord in National Harbor, and this was a perfect location and size for our group. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, great kitchen and living room, really nice basement with pool table, TV and wet bar. The washer and dryer was an unexpected plus!A few minor downsides. The kitchen gear (pans, utensils) are odd, most not very useful. Make sure you check what the kitchen has before planning a dinner. You can also tell that some parts of the house aren't well taken care of, the basement bathroom has no temperature control (broken handle) though fortunately set at a perfect temperature. Loud knocking in the pipes when you flush toilets or attempt to use the dishwasher. Which doesn't actually work. Neither does the ice maker. Bought ice at the nearby gas station, no problem. But no dishwasher for 8 people made for a very long and painful morning cleaning up the dinner we made. The owner told me they'll get it fixed, great communication on that part.This place would be 5 stars if the appliances were fixed and the plumbing was resolved. Still, great find, and we had a good time - other than the hours spent washing dishes.
