« I wish I didn’t have to leave! This property is worth 100 stars. The master bedroom offers sweeping views of the Laurelwood Valley. The patio is prime viewing for sunrise over the ridge and sunset behind the Cascades. It is off the beaten path; the peace, quiet, and seclusion make it the perfect retreat while remaining close to both Portland and the coast. The owners are very helpful, responsive, and attentive while allowing visitors to maintain privacy. I would recommend a stay to anyone...

7. Serene Deck & Gazebo Loft

« The property is a mess with junk cars and crappy building materials. You are required to park in back where it is extremely dark outside. You don't know what you might be running over while parking at night. The appliances and windows still have stickers on them as if they were in the middle of putting it together. Very disappointing that VRBO doesn't vet these properties. We chose this property because it was supposed to be pet friendly. On the day of we were told it would be an extra fee so...

8. Charming 1-bedroom in-law with SpaciousBackyard ~ Pet friendly

« All communication with the host was friendly and kept us up to date on what would be going on with the larger house that is not part of the suite we were in. The provided directions got us to the location without any trouble, even well after sunset. This in-law suite slept two comfortably. We had our college age daughter with us who slept on the futon. The futon isn't the best of accommodations for sleeping but worked out just fine for a college age person who has had less comfortable beds in...

« The apartment was very clean and roomy. The location was convenient to the area we wanted to be in. The instructions for check in could be rewritten with better clarity and additional helps - like the fob is needed to enter the access doors and to operate the elevator. The host responded quickly and answered our phone calls. There were no towels in the bathroom (we found them still in the dryer). Except for glasses, there was no dinnerware in the cupboards (we found dishes still in the...

« Beautiful neighborhood. The suite was very clean and cozy and comfortable. Very nicely equipped kitchenette—really appreciated that it was more than just a microwave and mini fridge. The upstairs was pretty hot, but how cool the downstairs was made up for that pretty well. We just had one miscommunication about checkout time: The time on Vrbo was different than the time the host gave us when we checked in. »
