Good Location and Fun Waterpark, but Some Improvements Needed
We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Lethbridge as a family over the Thanksgiving long weekend. Overall, it was a reasonably pleasant stay, although there are definitely some areas where the hotel could improve.
On the positive side, the hotel is in an excellent location, with plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby. The indoor waterpark is also a great feature, particularly for families with young children. Our young son absolutely loved it and had a wonderful time, which was certainly one of the highlights of our stay.
Unfortunately, there were also a couple of significant disappointments.
First, I would strongly recommend against purchasing the additional breakfast package. The quality of the restaurant food was extremely disappointing, and the service was equally poor. Considering the additional cost, it represented very poor value. My advice would be to save your money and visit one of the many nearby restaurants instead. You’ll likely enjoy a much better breakfast experience.
The second issue concerns the room layout. The rooms feature an older design in which the bathroom vanity and sink are open to the sleeping area, while only the toilet and bathtub are enclosed. This arrangement is particularly inconvenient for families, especially when one person needs to get ready early in the morning while others are still sleeping. Turning on the lights and using the sink inevitably disturbs everyone else.
