Wouldn't stay anywhere else the staff are extremely helpful and always so friendly. The rooms are alittle older but always extremely clean and the beds are quite comfortable .

It surprised me. I had to get a motel at the last min and this was the closest place. I usually only stay at large chain hotels but this little gem will get my business again. I found staff so friendly, room was spotless and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have had in a long time. I will stay there again. Thanks for a relaxing night.

A basic motel, quite acceptable. The room was clean and neat. We were pleased that it was pet friendly for no additional charge. My hubby was pleased there was coffee in the lobby. Not pleased at being added to an email list by the motel.

A very welcome surprise! Price was great compared to other properties listed for that weekend. Manager kindly upgraded from double to king bed and helpful with directions. Recently-renovated room was very clean, warm and having a fully-functional kitchen including sink was unexpected. Site within 10-min drive to most attractions and downtown. Sadly, area lacking in restaurants like most of interior Sudbury. While exterior may not appeal to many, what is found inside is what a weary traveller...

Is it better to stay in a Wahnapitae motel or hotel?
Motels and Hotels have different perks. When you stay at a motel, you’re likely to find free parking and an outdoor pool. Staying overnight at a motel, can be handy when requiring easy road access. You’ll often have access to your room from outside, and directly from the parking lot. Hotels generally have room access from inside the building. Motels are also often less expensive than hotels. The word “motel” was coined in 1925 by the owner of the Milestone Mo-Tel in San Luis Obispo, California.
