"This quaint 52 rum hotel is ideally located in downtown Charleston. It’s walking distance from all the major shopping. It’s great restaurants. The staff is incredible. Everyone was as professional, thoughtful, and very helpful. Their complementary breakfast, wine and cheese, cookies, and milk, just her icing on the cake."

"The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful especially Van! The room was large, clean and the mattress was very comfortable We loved the outdoor space and restaurant. Breakfast was very good and loved the atmosphere. My only suggestion is maybe another bartender during happy hour. Had to wait over 20 minutes to get a drink. The bartender was slammed and couldn't keep up."

"One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. I had made a mistake when booking dates and Colleen at your front desk was so forgiving and accommodating even though I didn’t book directly. When we went to our room it didn’t have a balcony so she very generously upgraded us to an incredible room with a beautiful view to watch the sunset. We will come back and recommend to all our friends! This was southern hospitality at its best! If I could give 10 stars I would! Thanks again Coleen and Denise and all the other wonderful staff members who made our stay special. "

"I loved the pool area and the morning coffee in the lobby starting at 6:30 is great too as is the self-serve 24 hour snacks & drinks. Great guest experience overall! Front desk called our room to let us know the maintance team had to drill for 30 seconds in the room next to ours and apologized for the call and the noise, but I appreciated the notice and I could hardly hear the drill for what was maybe 15 seconds. Comfy bed & pillows. great shower. Property clean & well maintained. Easy access to downtown. Great restaurants close by. "

"Our first room in the separate building. Wasn't very nice, so we went back and upgraded. It to the other building, and it was beautiful and very nice. I like that older building. It really needs to be modeling, but the newer building was simply wonderful.People were very friendly and their breakfast was excellent"
