DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego - Del Mar

8/10 Good

"My niece and I really enjoyed our stay! We were only there for one night, so we didn’t get to experience everything the hotel had to offer since we were busy exploring San Diego, but everything we did experience was really good. The day and night staff were excellent, and our room was really nice, spacious, and clean. It was a little dated, but we didn’t mind that at all. The warm cookies were an excellent way to welcome guests to the property and won us over right away! 🍪 The only things worth noting are that the shower water gets SUPER hot, so make sure you let it run for a bit before getting in. Also, keep the bathroom door cracked because there’s no ventilation, and it gets really hot in there while you’re showering. The artwork in the lobby is beautiful, and the fact that the artist regularly paints new pieces right there on the property is super cool! As far as the location goes, it really wasn’t too far from everything we wanted to do. And trust me, we did A LOT! To be fair, we were hitting all the touristy spots, so we were city and beach hopping throughout our stay. I didn’t get a chance to take any photos because we were short on time, but I’ll definitely be back for another stay! 😊"

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, San Diego North, CA

10/10 Excellent

"Nice hotel in a business park so it’s deserted on the weekends. There’s a Starbucks across the street but otherwise not much that’s open. It was packed with school kids at a band competition so breakfast was slammed. Nice gym."

Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego-Del Mar

"We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were big and had a great view of the fireworks from Disneyland. We enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour service. The place is a bit far from walking to Disneyland. However, there is a paid shuttle service which can be spotty at times. Overall, we had a great stay."
