"My husband and I had a lovely stay here while we completed several day hikes in Northern Corsica. The owners were wonderful hosts. We really appreciated the bounty they shared from the fruit and vegetable garden on the property. The view from the shared pool was amazing, and the patios were great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. With a rental car, we found it easy to access multiple trailheads for hiking in Northern Corsica, from Losari to Vivario. We would definitely come back here!"

"A peaceful, private cottage with a lovely countryside feel. Nice sitting area under the shade as well as full sun lounging area. The fig trees were alive with birds and butterflies eating the ripe fruits, on our visit mid-September. Everything we needed was provided, with good kitchen facilities and a comfortable lounge/reading area. "The renovated old house with a large terrace and a great view towards the sea and the lowlands is beautifully situated on a large plot. The living room is cozy. The kitchen is functionally furnished. The two bedrooms on the upper floor are very large and have a shared balcony. The bathroom is accessible as an annex via the staircase. "The views are breathtaking, and the villa is comfortable, both inside and in the pool/deck area. We had to purchase some amenities; the heated pool was not heated and it was too chilly to swim. The roads leading up to the villa are treacherous; drivers must be very confident! It was quite a drive to get to a grocery store, more than ten minutes. We loved the place and the gorgeous views but could not give a five star rating for these reasons--"

The bad points about the instructions and the gite were as follows: The map showing the location was inaccurate and we would never have looked into this industrial estate to find the countryside gite that we thought we had booked. "Peaceful, with beautiful mountain views all around, and a variety of birds to observe. We found this a perfect place to base ourselves with easy access to the many spectacular walks nearby. The university town of Corte, ten minutes drive away, has a pleasant atmosphere, quite different to the holiday resorts on the coast. "This little updated farmhouse was ideal for me and my husband. The owner was lovely, and even provided a bottle of their house made Rose and local cookies on arrival. It had everything we needed, and was run in an ecological way. The fireplace was a nice addition on a chilly, rainy evening when we arrived, but by the next day we were in the sunshine at the beach a few mins away. Very rural, but also close to nice restaurants and towns. Amazing stay!"

"We really enjoyed staying in the apartmenet. Pool, whirpool and other outside accessories were really great. There was a large kitchen inside and three nice bedrooms. One room with other 6 beds was quite small - the room is located in the attic. We had difficulties to find the place - we were sent the map via mail but we received it after returning from holiday. "We spent two weeks in this beautiful house in Albitreccia. It is a perfect location to start exploring the west coast of Corse as well as reaching Bonifacio and Porto-Vecchio. The house itself is clean, perfectly cut and very good equipped. The only disadvantage is the missing WiFi but we had sufficient mobile connection. Also the contact to the landlord and his local friend was quick and helpful. We can absolutely recommend this place!"
