"The house was just as described. This was the second time we stayed in one of their homes. The only issue I have, and this prevented me from 5 stars, was we arrived a little after the check in time, and the owners (I am assuming), were there outside and before check out time, they drove by (this was a dead end street). This made us a bit nervous and irritated."

"We stayed for my friends low-key bachelorette weekend and had a great time. The house so many bathrooms that made getting ready for dinner a breeze and the kitchen and dining room was great for game night. And the house was beautiful! The only complaint we had were that there seemed to be an abundance of wasps around the front porch and there was no grill."

"We loved staying in this farmhouse on our trip to Jefferson City (just 15-20 minutes away)! The property had a lot to offer, especially if you have kids! Everything was as described and better with all the little touches that make a getaway that much better. I enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. I slept right through the storms in a comfy bed with high thread-count sheets. My teenage daughter enjoyed sitting in the sun room to write her novel! And when the tornado warning came through...

"The house was conveniently located close to the College and grocery shopping. Very clean and well kept. Neighborhood is quiet. Communication is fantastic with the owner. Will definitely stay again if ever in that area."

"We came to Jefferson City for a family wedding. A couple of months ago we were trying to find hotel rooms but everything was booked. I just happened upon this listing on vrbo and once we arrived at the property, I was so thankful that all hotel rooms were booked. It was wonderful to sit on the deck early morning and near dusk to watch all the wildlife. We will definitely be back!"

Huge spacious house that easily accommodated our 5 couples where we each had our own bedroom and bathroom area."

"I am from the area originally, being in the military, going home to visit we’re always stuck with family but having something like this is nice since there are no hotels in the area. The only thing I’d recommend is a map to find things like the dumpster- and maybe to find the cabins, anyone not from the area would have difficulty. "My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the cabin! The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, drinking wine and playing catch-up plus we visited Rosebud and did some day shopping. Would highly recommend staying at one of the cabins at Red Oak Valley!"

The bungalow is in a convenient location, close to S&T and to Price Chopper--only 5 minutes away. "Love, love this rental. Not only was it super clean, it was decorated wonderfully. This feels like a home away from home. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and safe. This is a great place to stay if you’re in the area."
